As vice president of marketing and business development at Sky Publishing, Marcy brings nearly two decades of publishing and media experience to the position. Her current role includes management of the books & products division, the development of the Web site, the cultivation of strategic partnerships, and oversight of corporate communications. Prior to this appointment she was director of marketing at MIT’s Technology Review magazine overseeing brand and marketing strategy. From 1992 to 2000 Marcy was the marketing communications director at CXO Media, Inc., publishers of CIO and Darwin magazines. In that role she managed the branding initiatives to support the ad sales effort. Her publishing career started at Cahners Publishing, where for six years she managed the promotional efforts for Design News and Modern Materials Handling magazines. Marcy has a BA in Political Science and American Literature from George Washington University.
