CosmoStory rolls out the Cosmo Laser ($25), a laser finder for your smartphone. The device consists of a 5-milliwatt green laser pointer paired with a universal smartphone 1/4-20 threaded bracket. Simply add your smartphone with your favorite planetarium app and a standard photo tripod, and you’ll be able to identify virtually any object centered in your smartphone screen. The Cosmo Laser’s mounting bracket includes a safety lock position, which hides the ON button to prevent involuntary activation.
