2016 NYC Autumn Urban Starfest

See the universe from Central Park! Join the Amateur Astronomers Association (AAA) of New York ( http://www.aaa.org/ and Facebook) for their 21th Annual Autumn Urban Starfest on Saturday, October 1, 2016, starting at 7:00 pm at the Sheep Meadow. AAA members will share views through their telescopes of Saturn, Mars, star clusters, double stars, and other objects in the night sky. See the Summer Triangle stars of Vega, Altair and Deneb with your own eyes!

Come early to win a telescope, binoculars and other prizes in our free raffle, stay late to get amazing views through the telescopes. Scheduled speakers include Al Nagler, Founder TeleVue Optics, ISS Finder developer Harry Slotwiner, NYC Urban Parks Ranger Sgt. Sunny Carraro, AAA members Irene Pease and Jaclyn Avidon and The Planetary Society.
