A world with two styles of ocean

The Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) invites inquisitive adults interested in current topics in space science and exploration to join us for the fourth presentation in the 2017-18 Cosmic Exploration Speaker Series – Diving into Ocean Worlds. Dr. Ralph Lorenz from Johns Hopkins University will present “Titan: A world with two styles of ocean.” The presentation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lunar and Planetary Institute in Houston, TX. The presentation will also be streamed live at www.ustream.tv/channel/YMjupNHukn7.

The Cosmic Exploration Speaker Series features some of the hottest topics in our solar system and beyond with the scientists who are making the discoveries. Lorenz researches surface-atmosphere interactions at Titan, Venus, and Mars using multiple methods including remote-sensing and in-situ data collection.
