Astronomy & Night Sky Summer Series

New this Summer! Discover the night sky from Assateague Island National Seashore at the north end – Berlin, Maryland! The event will begin with auditorium presentations followed by stargazing with telescopes and binoculars (weather permitting).

Astronomy 101 Presentations
Assateague Visitor Center Auditorium (Limited space available; first come first serve; rain or shine)
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Drop-in astronomy-themed activities for children
Assateague Island Visitor Center (Limited supplies available; first come first serve; rain or shine)
8:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Night Sky Observations through telescopes and binoculars at the south end of North Ocean Beach Parking Lot. Parking available at the north end of same lot. (Subject to cancellation due to inclement weather)
