Aurora Borealis Weekend
September 22 - September 25$45 - $95
The Aurora Borealis is one of those magical items on everyone’s bucket list. Here at Gordon’s Park we are fortunate to be far enough north and far enough from a major city to be able to view the Aurora Borealis from our Dark Sky Preserve throughout the year, with the best viewing times being in the spring and fall.
We have been watching the northern lights for 20 years and love having the opportunity to share them with our guests. This year we have two Aurora Borealis themed weekends planned. Come and enjoy your stay with us, and our staff will be on round-the-clock aurora watch to ensure you don’t miss a second of the action.

Longer nights make September a beautiful time of the year to watch for the Northern Lights.
Join us for an incredible astronomy experience, camping & observing the beautiful night skies of Manitoulin on site in the RASC designated Dark Sky Preserve at Gordon’s Park. The Dark Sky Preserve offers exceptionally dark skies, no light pollution, 360 degree observing, 21.45 SQM and an 8” Dobsonian Telescope.
