CAFTA 2010 - 30th ANNUAL TELESCOPE MAKING CONTESTThe Dorval Astronomy club, the Société d’astronomie de Montreal, the Club Orion of St-Timothée, the Parc des Iles of Saint-Timothée and the R.A.S.C. invite you to the 30th C.A.F.T.A. 2010, held on August 6-7-8th 2010 at the Parc des Iles of St-Timothée in southern Quebec.
There will be awards in the following categories: Mechanical, Optical, Originality, Research, Photography, Beginner, Software and Technology and Craftmanship. This year, our main lecturer will be award winning telescope maker Normand Fullum. There will also the Fred-Clarke award. A great weekend in a great park with a magnificent beach! Welcome to all!
