Curtis Wong, Principal Researcher at Microsoft, will be at Lowell Observatory to give a talk about the WordWide Telescope and the effect it has had on space exploration and research. This talk will cover how the creation of the WorldWide Telescope to visualize the Universe served as the foundation to explore more complex dynamic data sets and how its guided tours will help democratize access and understanding of spatial temporal data back here on Earth.
