Jupiter watch at Beacon Fell

April 8 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The giant planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. It will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible all night long. This is the best time to view and photograph Jupiter and its moons. Let our telescopes show you some of the details in Jupiter's cloud bands and its Moons, bring your own binoculars and see Jupiter's four largest moons, appearing as bright dots on either side of the planet.

This event is suitable for ages 12 and up.

Did you know; from towns and cities we see just a handful of stars, but in the Forest of Bowland we could count 2,000 at any one time!

Please book early - places are limited.
