New Views of the Universe Exhibit

May 19, 2014 - January 4, 2015

Developed by the Space Telescope Science Institute and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES), this exhibition immerses visitors in the magnificence and mystery of the Hubble mission. With a scale model of the Hubble Space Telescope as the focal point, “satellite” units incorporate hands-on activities about how the telescope works, and a “Space/Time” section features Hubble’s contributions to the exploration of planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe. Information and models of the new James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) are also featured!
