Star Gazing at the Pensacola Beach Pavilion

On the weekends closest to the first quarter moon, the members of the Escambia Amateur Astronomers gather from sunset until midnight at the Pavilion on Casino Beach. We handout star charts, track satellites, point out constellations, and allow the public to view the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars through large telescopes. Bring your smartphone to get photos like this.
Held from March through October on the weekend closest to the first quarter moon.
Cost: Free, free parking in beach lot
