Stars Over Yellowstone (2016)

Museum of the Rockies, Bozeman

Join the Museum of the Rockies & Yellowstone National Park this summer inside Yellowstone for stargazing under pristine dark skies! There will be nighttime telescope observing on Friday and Saturday of each weekend following evening presentations at the Madison Campground Amphitheatre (weather permitting). Presentations by experts in the field begin at 9:30pm. Solar observing will take place Saturday afternoon from 12 to 2pm at Old Faithful.

This year's presenters include:
- Jim Manning - former Executive Director of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific
- Ryan Hannahoe - Chairmain of the Board of the Montana Learning Center
- Zoltan Levay - Imaging Group Lead in the Office of Public Outreach at Space Telescope Science Institute

Stars Over Yellowstone is free with Park admission.
