Super Stellar Friday: “The Great Eclipse of the Century”

The longest solar eclipse of the century will occur on July 22, 2009. The path of totality will carry it from China into the South Pacific. Educator Bob Veilleux will present the unique characteristics of this eclipse and explain why it is a repeat of an eclipse just over fifty years ago. Learn about eclipses in general and how you can watch this particular event.
Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

$9 Adult, $6 Child (3-12), $8 Student/Senior. Free for Members. If General Admission is purchased earlier that day, program ticket is $3.
