Little Shooter: Orion StarBlast Imaging System

Johnny Horne
You don’t have to break the bank to join the ranks of deep-sky astrophotographers with Orion’s StarBlast 4.5 Imaging System. The company’s very popular 4½-inch f/4 Newtonian reflector has been modified to work with its StarShoot Deep-Space Color Imager (named a Hot Product last year). And the $539 price includes a set of tube rings, so all you need to add is your computer and a suitable mount. Orion claims, “You won’t find a telescope and camera package that’s anywhere near as good for such an incredible price.” We agree.
