Product Videos & Demonstrations

Welcome to Sky & Telescope’s product videos. For many years, former S&T senior editor Dennis di Cicco has interviewed multiple manufacturers and vendors of astronomy equipment in an effort to bring their products to life in a way that you will find useful.

We’ve interviewed companies including Meade, Celestron, and Apogee, to name a few. They’ll display and discuss their products, including binoculars, telescopes, eyepieces, mounts, cameras, lenses, and more. We’ve discussed unique products, such as fiber-glass observatories and waterproof eyepieces.

These videos display the growing number of amateur astronomers doing backyard photometry and spectroscopy with simple equipment. Often times interviewees tell stories about unique observing projects they’re involved in, including observing supernovae and launching cube satellites from the International Space Station.
