The Cradle of Aviation is a 130,000 square foot aerospace museum housing a five-story tall 70' dome IMAX Theater. Located in Garden City, Long Island, New York; visitors are spell-bound as they enter the four-story glass atrium and gaze upon a diverse sampling of aircraft. Each of our eight galleries delivers a "wow experience" as you travel through time with 70 air and space craft from hot air balloons to an actual lunar module. The museum offers a variety of programming, from camps, live shuttle launches, family activities, and astronomy days to lectures there is something for everyone. Since the museum's opening, hundreds of thousands of visitors have been captivated by this spectacular tribute to Long Island's aerospace industry.
