Sasteria is a public observatory situated 400m high in the mountains of the island Crete in Greece. Due the southern location we can can show you a lot of wonderful deep sky. We have a lot off telescopes to choose from depending on the objects you want to observe. Our biggest telescope is the 20" Newton on a Mathis Goto mount. So if you are in Europe pay us a visit and enjoy the the night sky. We will guide you through a wonderful experience you will never forget. We have a lot of different formulae so you can choose what fits your observation best. Our observatory is close to a small village at the see. So you can enjoy your visit also during the day by swimming and sun beading and of coarse out eating in the local Greek tavernas. Greetings Filip.
