DescriptionAfter a much needed thunderstorm, a nice double rainbow appeared. After I took a few shots, I wondered what it would look like without my infrared filter (it's a modified camera). Here's the result. The top picture is normal and the bottom one is without the IR filter.

DescriptionI was taking some star trail pictures when I noticed these weird greenish clouds. I found out the next day that it was an uncommon atmospheric phenomenon known as airglow which is caused by a chemical reaction in the upper atmosphere.

DescriptionYesterday, perhaps being convinced of the sincerity of my love, Aurora had finally decided to reveal herself just a little more. And what manifestations they were! Here is just one of them. What shall we call it? A giant steaming cup of some divine brew? or celestial ikebana? or some surrealistic astro-art capable of providing inspiration even to Salvador Dali? Word just fail you.
