Description

Not for publication; just thought you might be interested in seeing the three comets to scale. I think I'm close to having the Pleiades twice the size of the moon, and Delphinus six times the size of the Pleiades.

Description

This is a picture of the Shuttle Endeavor last launch. I took this from the Kennedy Space Centers VIP area which is 3.8 miles from the launch pad. After being delayed from the original launch date I once again flew from California to capture the event.

Description

I got a shot of the ISS this morning over Kent, CT. I used the new NASA spot the station email alert and it works great! I signed up for it on Monday and they emailed me yesterday with an alert so I set up to capture it pass over the Kent Land Trust. If you look closely you will notice there is even a faint meteor streak next to it both passing thru the constellation Canis Major.

TALEMZANE is an impact crater in Algeria, By: latitude N 33° 19' Longitude E 4° 2' Explored for the first time in 1928, studied in 1950 and 1988 by researchers from university of Oran (Algeria) and Nice (France). It is 1.75 km in diameter and the age is estimated to be less than three million years and is probably Pliocene.
