EquipmentTelescope: TAK Epsilon 180ED astrograph, Starlight X-press SXV-M25C CCD camera on a Celestron CGE German-equatorial mount
DescriptionThis is a beautiful area of the sky in the Constellation of Orion....Sometimes called the Sword of Orion. It includes M42, M43, and NGC 1977. This picture was a combination of three different nights, in both color and Hydrogen Alpha.

EquipmentMeade DSI Pro at the prime focus of an LXD75 SN6
DescriptionNGC 3115, the Spindle Galaxy in Sextans. LRGB (L:75x30sec, RGB: 25x30sec each, high gain) taken with a Meade DSI Pro at the prime focus of an LXD75 SN6, source images saved as FITS, aligned in ASIP, combined in drizzle, LRGB assembled in Photoshop.
LocationPalo Duro Canyon State Park
EquipmentTakahashi Epsilon 180ED astrograph with an SBIG STL-11000M CCD camera equipped with an Astrodon Hydrogen-alpha filter on an Astro-Physics 900 GTO German equatorial mount.
DescriptionThis is a 4-frame mosaic of the Orion area, including the famous Horse Head Nebula (B 33), the Orion Nebula M 42), as well as the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024). A special narrow band Hydrogen-alpha filter was used to create this panoramic view. This image really needs to be displayed at a larger image scale to really show off the fascinating structure. I have included a direct link to the image on my website thank you darrell crofford http://www.galaxies.com/darrellccd.aspx?photoid=81
