Description

Here is comet 17P/Holmes stopping by Fisherman's Wharf for some seafood and sourdough bread at Scoma's. An Earth satellite cruised through the California Nebula during one of the exposures.

Description

Saturn on this day was at it's closest and the weather was exceptional with the folowing results. The ring is going into the plane angle and the cassini division is getting difficult to see. The lower photo taken with the same equipment showing it angle position from last year.

Description

Saturn is Approaching opposition in a couple of days, The ring is going into a plane. Notice at center of lower ring shadow cast from ring is almost gone as sunlight is hitting more of the surface.
