Description

I was struck with the beauty of this sceene. Sunset with Venus and some bright stars reflections on the sea surface. Silhouettes of distant islands and lighthouses lights, added to the atmosphere of the moment. I enhenced slightly in Photoshop the visibility of the reflected stars and nothing else.

A fifteen month exercise to identify the proper combination in natural lighting between the foreground and the rising full moon as well as the precise azimuth and altitude between the rising full moon and the Temple of Poseidon south of Athens. A similar project already in progress for the past twelve months.
