This shows the development of the green flash on top of the sun during a sunset. I have a more extended sequence but the green flash is too small if i put in more than 3 shots with a total width of 1000px

Description

LDN673 is a dark nebula in Aquila. With very little reflected light in the nebula, what we see are mostly areas where distant Milky Way stars are missing from the starfield. This LRGB photo required 9 hours 25 minutes of exposure time.

Description

After a session of Jupiter i deciced to image Uranus and Neptune. Neptune is approaching Opposition on the 15th and soon in september Uranus. A recent image of Jupiter was used to compare size comparising using the same setup and equipment on all three planets.

Description

A picture of Jupiter under a beautiful west Texas sky. I have been taking pictures for about a year now, and felt this one was nice enough to send in. Clearly can see the great red spot and red Jr.
