The conjunction of Moon, Regulus, Mars and Saturn was captured with my canon EOS 350D, It looks so beautiful, and looks like Orion belt´s Stars (Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka).

This shot is a SINGLE FRAME at 4 minutes taken with a stock Canon 40D and Canon 200mm F2 image stabilised lens The image density and detail astonished me, especially since it was taken in Illinois :) they were sitting piggyback ontop of my ASA astrograph for this shot processed in photoshop CS 3 Bruce

This image was acquired through an ASA 10" astrograph coupled to a Fingerlakes Proline 9000 This camera/scope combo provides about a 2 degree square field of view through a 10" scope !!!!! The image is a commbo of TWO ONLY luminance frames of 5 minutes each manually focused with robo-focus No darks or flats were applied

I had just packed up after an evening observing the conjunction of Mars and Saturn and noticed this glowing cloud low in the NNW sky. I took a series of pictures over a period of 15 minutes as the cloud fradually melted away. Peter Carson
