Equipment

Canon 350D Hap Griffin Baader Mod Astronomik CLS Filter Orion ED80 with WO 0.8 reducer/flattener Orion ST80 guidescope with Meade DSI Pro Orion Atlas mount PHD Guiding and EQMOD software

Description

The first image taken with my new modded 350D. Seeing was VERY poor with 95% humidity and water dripping off the telescopes. A fogbank rolled in at about 3:30 am - imaging continued till about 4:15. I chose this object as a first test for the new camera because of it's low surface brightness and high proportion of H-Alpha for the modded camera.
