Description

The colors of the Moon, intensified in this image with a particular procedure of Post processing, they show the difference in the chemical-mineralogical composition of the lunar ground. Thousand of impacts of asteroids, great Lava's effusions and Solar radiation they have all contributed to create this palette

It was treat for me on my birthday (11th December) as soon as I woke up and went to my balcony to see a beautiful pairing of the Moon, Venus and Mercury in the east. Along with that there was also a clear winter sky to enjoy 30 minutes before sunrise!

Having been disappointed with cloudy mornings on Dec. 9th and 10th, Dec. 11 dawned clear and still and allowed me to capture this beautiful conjunction of the Moon, Venus, and Mercury. I like the perspective that trees lend to this image.
