Description

I got a shot of the ISS this morning over Kent, CT. I used the new NASA spot the station email alert and it works great! I signed up for it on Monday and they emailed me yesterday with an alert so I set up to capture it pass over the Kent Land Trust. If you look closely you will notice there is even a faint meteor streak next to it both passing thru the constellation Canis Major.

Description

TALEMZANE is an impact crater in Algeria, By: latitude N 33° 19' Longitude E 4° 2' Explored for the first time in 1928, studied in 1950 and 1988 by researchers from university of Oran (Algeria) and Nice (France). It is 1.75 km in diameter and the age is estimated to be less than three million years and is probably Pliocene. For showing all shadow places in this crater. I used CANON XSI REBEL digital Camera and fisheye lens 15 mm

Description

A M42 center collage picture that consist of 3 individual pictures. 1. A Ha BW picture. 2. A LUM(Ha)RGB picture. 3. A LUM(Ha)SIIHaOIII picture. Very few subs/frames were needed to take this collage picture due to the very intense light coming from the M42 center area.

Description

NGC 6334 ( Cat's Paw Nebula, Bear Claw Nebula and Gum 64) is an emission nebula located in the constellation Scorpius. The whole gas cloud is about 50 light-years across. NGC 6334 is one of the most active nurseries of young massive stars in our galaxy.
