Celestron C11 with DMK21-618

Description

This moon mosaic was made during the national star observation days. It was made using a C11 at f/10. 107 images were made using a DMK21-618. The images were stacked (Autostakkert V2) from 30s movies (1800 frames) of which the best 25% was used for stacking. Post-processing was done using astra-image and mosaicing using Imerge. Description

The photograph shows a beautiful transit of the ISS, which shone spectacularly and passed very near the zenith, leaving its trail from the constellation of Orion to the bright star Sirius. In the foreground, typical Brazilian golden trumpet trees.

Description

This shot shows a brightly visible Zodiacal Light seen in Cherry Springs State Park, PA. The Zodiacal Light is a glow that extends along the ecliptic and is caused by sunlight that is scattered by space dust in the zodiacal cloud. Venus and Jupiter are also brightly visible along the ecliptic as well. Above that the star cluster Pleiades can be seen.

Description

Saturn King of the Ring Planets, My most recent session from Feb. 21st, 07:37ut. In the northern pole region remmants of the Serpent Storm could still be seen (grn/blu band) and two moons could be seen at top Left Enceladus top Right Tehtys.
