Equipment80 mm William Optics with 0.8X focal reducer. Camera Nikon D 50. Exposure time 10 minutes at 800ASA and JPEG format. No processing only resized. Mount EQ3 orion.
DescriptionThe comet is closer to Mirfak which is the brightes star in the picture, left is nothward.

EquipmentCanon EOS 300D with Canon 100-400mm IS lens at 400mm focal length, f5.6 and ISO 800. Guided piggy backed for 60 seconds. Captured as RAW format. Processed with a dark frame subtraction and saved as JPEG.
DescriptionComet 17P/Holmes in Perseus on 14th Nov 2007 at 2145 GMT. Seeing was very good for our locality.

EquipmentDSI Pro II behind homebuilt 6" f1.8 astrograph
DescriptionThese two images were taken 3hours 21 min appart. Each image was a stack of 20 frames @ 15sec. Processing efforts were directed on the central nucleus and jets. Color data consists of 30sec each blue, green and H-alpha. The 3D effect should appear as if the comet is lifting off the plane of the page if the opposite is happening try flipping the image horizontaly, you may be left eyed.
