Description

This photo caught the partially eclipsed sun setting behind juniper trees on a mesa above the canyon floor at Chaco Canyon.

Nikon D-5100 DSLR with 55-300mm zoom @ 300mm using a ND2-ND1000 variable neutral density filter @ ND800. Tripod mounted.

Description

A photo strip of various shots of the 2012 Annular Eclipse taken 5 miles from Pyramid Lake NV, which was center path for the eclipse. The shots were shot in RAW format and then converted to Jpeg and color corrected in Paintshop Pro X4. The ND filter gave the original shots a blue cast.
