DescriptionThe sky was a bit hazy and cloudy at times after the maximum partial solar eclipse phase at 61% earlier that morning. This image shows Sunspots AR1482 and AR1484 after the sky cleared up a bit before the clouds rolled in again after a few minutes after the image was taken.

DescriptionFrom San Antonio, Texas, our best view of the May 20th solar eclipse would take place near sunset. At first, encroaching clouds could have proven troublesome. Instead, they painted the scene with their own fiery brushstrokes, adding to the celestial scene!
