Finally turned right to Fallon Nevada. Hitched a ride to the center line of the eclipse and began capturing images at five second intervals. As the eclipse approached second contact, began to see prominences projecting past the edge of the moon. At second contact, prominences and bailey's beads appeared at the top, and a sunspot at the bottom of the image. |
