This image was made with a 5 inch apochromatic refracting telescope at f 9. The camera used was a Cannon 60Da the ISO used was 1600 and the exposure was 3.2 seconds. The mount was a Losmandy G-8

Description

I shot this image of Comet C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) as it descended towards the mountains west of Las Vegas. I shot it from my back yard in Henderson, Nevada.
