Description

The head of the comet had disappeared behind hills aprroximately 20 mins earlier.The tail was reminiscent of low cloud lit by street lighting,however the nearest street lights in this case were in Australia,some 1200 miles west. An awesome sight.

Description

Viewing the comet had been frustrated by cloud the night before but tonight looked promising, so in order to keep out of the wind I decided to photograph from my office in Perth. The vantage point was good 28 floors up, but shooting through glass was difficult because of potential reflections.
