Description

The sight of the full moon rising over the KC skyline and being partially eclipsed by 1 Kansas City Place - the tallest building in KCMO - was both breathtaking and bonechilling! Total Lunar Eclipse T minus 3 hours.

300mm Canon w/1.4 extender on Canon XTi piggybacked on an Orion 120mm refractor all on a CGE mount and a Canon 300D with 18mm lens.

Description

The February 20, 2008 Lunar Eclipse along with Leo and Saturn just before they got covered up by a bank of clouds. The eclipse was taken with my 300mm lens, then pasted on the wide-field shot taken with my 18mm lens to show more what it really looked like.
