PhotographerMichael BoschatLocationHalifax,Nova Scotia,CanadaDateMarch 14 at 8:08 pm ADTEquipmentCanon 350D with 75-300mm telephoto.DescriptionWOW!! this was a tough one. Not as bright as hoped and took awhile to find it! I saw the comet at about 8:20pm ADT with my 7x50 binoculars and just noted it. Then after 10 min was able to just see it with the naked eye low in the NW. I shot a few images and this is the result. Data is on the images. Star trail near head is 51 Piscis at 5.8 mag. To get the tail I had to let the comet trail just a bit unfortunately. |
