Description

An all-sky-eclipse-trail show the whole sky in my backyard, with the moving Moon leaving a trail with a center red trail for the totality and white trails for the partiality. The only celestial object fixed in this image is Polaris.

Description

The weather during this eclipse was not very cooperative - clouds, high winds. This was one of very few shots showing the moon not through clouds. The picture is combined of two shots - eclipsed Moon and the Bridge, stitched in Photoshop.

Description

The comet as seen on January 31. To the left the central region of the milky way is rising and to the right are the Large and Small Magellanic clouds. The light source on the horizon is from a nearby town.

Description

I knew that 1/20/07 Venus is going to be close to 1 day old Moon. I went to a cliff above Pacific to see the Moon and Venus, and I was up for the surprise. I also saw the tail of the comet McNaught as well as Zodiacal light. Pleas notice the Moon Reflection in Pacific. I call the picture Triple Conjunction of the Moon, Venus and the comet tail.

Description

This picture was taken on Limeira-Piracicaba Road and, besides clouds and light, I saw it at nacked-eye. Simple great. It's possible to see the tail above the clouds, even with atmosphere cloudy and humid after a huricane.
