As I look over my collection of images starting with March 11 until now I see nightly changes in the Comet, the direction of the tail comes to mind first, always away from the Sun. Changes in color, at times, and also changes in the size of the coma. Poor weather is predicted for the next several days, so no more pictures, for a while. But I think an interesting exhibit or article might be on how Comet Pan-STARRS evolved in shape, size and color as it was seen from Earth by millions of us Humans around the world. |

I had to set up my tripod in a snowbank, and my feet froze, but I got the shot I was after. This view matches quite closely what I saw in my 15 x 50 image-stabilized binoculars. Not a great comet, but better than nothing! |
