The History Channel launches a new series about astronomy tonight. The first episode of The Universe tackles solar science at 9 p.m. Eastern time, 8 p.m. Central. Next week's will cover Mars. I can't vouch for quality yet, but the preview I saw during last night's interesting Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed (yes, I entered the sweepstakes) made it look pretty good. The gang on Heroes may have managed to save New York City from nucleosapiens detonation, but it looks like it will be destroyed by a meteoritic airburst anyway!
