I tried to find something astronomical about this, but this was the best I could do.
Yesterday the blogs for Google Earth and Maps noted an extremely neat feature launched for Google Maps: Street View, in which you can actually see a ground-level perspective of portions of five U.S. cities. Click the navigation buttons to turn around and shift up or down the street. Right now, it only works for the locations indicated in the image at right. Also, you'll need a Flash player installed in your browser.
Go ahead and spend the rest of the day finding the homes, offices, and/or cars of people you know.
