The 2011 Advanced Imaging Conference in Santa Clara, California, early this past November was another rousing success, with upward of 400 attendees traveling from across North America and even as far as Europe for the three-day event.

In addition to a day-long series of workshops covering all aspects of the latest trends in astronomical imaging and a full schedule of invited talks, another highlight of the meeting was the vendor exhibits, where people got a firsthand look at the latest imaging technology. I conducted video interviews with a number of equipment manufacturers and software developers who are at the forefront of today’s imaging revolution.
