User Guide for S&T's Mobile Sky Chart
This article contains the same Help instructions found in Sky & Telescope's Mobile Sky Chart application. Of course, it's easier to read them here than on your telephone handset's tiny screen. Program Controls
Menu/Display Controls:
Up: Highlights the previous item. If already at the top item, highlights the bottom item. (Within User Guide, moves up the page.)
Down: Highlights the next item. If already at the bottom item, highlights the top item. (Within User Guide, moves down the page.)
OK/Select: Chooses the currently highlighted item.
Clear/Back: Exits the current menu or display & returns to the previous menu or display. If already at the Main Menu, exits the program.
Star (*): Displays User Guide for the current menu or display.
End: Exits the application.
Special ZIP Entry Controls:
Clear: Erases a digit.
Select: Accepts the entry.
Special Chart Controls:
2: Pans Up.
8: Pans Down.
4: Pans Left.
6: Pans Right.
1: Pans Left & Up.
7: Pans Left & Down.
3: Pans Right & Up.
9: Pans Right & Down.
5: Zooms In.
0: Zooms Out.
#: Toggles between the display of the time and the date at the bottom of the chart.
Select: Opens the Chart Options menu.
