Description:

Asteroid 2014 JO25 is now 29 million miles from Earth and has dimmed to magnitude 16.6. Spiral Galaxy NGC 4177 is in the background as JO25 passes it. Unfortunately the 3/4 illuminated Moon was only 29 degrees away which washed out some of the galaxies features. The insets are 12 images (each 5 minutes) tracked on the asteroid which is circled.
