Description:
Spiral galaxies NGC4567 and 4568 are in the early stages of colliding and merging. The galaxy at upper left is the elliptical galaxy NGC4564. They are all part of the Virgo cluster and roughly 60 million light-years away. Other galaxies are visible in the image as well.
