Description:
Comet 2P Encke is brightening in the west evening skies and is now about magnitude 10. Over the coming weeks it should brighten and become visible in binoculars as it gets lower to the horizon. Comet 2P does have a nice short tail unlike Comet 45P which unfortunately reappeared in the morning sky without the expected tail. The images show some of that Denver light pollution.
