Description:
Crescent phase of Venus 2 weeks before the transit, captured with a point-and-shoot camera (Canon PowerShot S3IS in video mode) through a 4-in f/9 refractor, 25 mm eyepiece, and a 2x barlow. A 10-second video clip was processed with RegiStax to produce this final image.
