10" RCOS Telescope SBIG ST-10XME Astro-Physics 900 mount LRGB Image using Astrodon Filters (total of ~ 9 hours) L: 17x10 minutes each RGB: 12x10 minutes each

Description:

Part of the eastern half of the Veil Nebula, it is directly south and basically attached to NGC 6992.The filamentary structure is composed of mostly hydrogen gas, with enough oxygen III to provide a pretty green counterpoint to the red hydrogen alpha emission
