DescriptionThe amazing comet Hyakutake is seen here sporting an ion tail stretching 60 degrees from its head well into the cluster of stars comprising the constellation of Coma Berenices. Not only was the comet cool, but the air temperature that morning was a crisp 8 degrees above zero F.
