Date/Time of photo:
February 22, 2017 at 8:10pm local time
Equipment:
Full Spectrum Canon Eos Rebel T3 with a 50mm lens at F/1.8 for 1 second and iso 3200
Description:
I've seen Coronas around the Moon but never Venus. Coronas around a Planet is very rare but Venus was at mag - 4.62 at the time of this photo so that would explain why it was able to form one. It was also bright enough to generate a faint lens flare in my camera. It is located near the left center of the photo.
