Description:

The photo shows comet McNaught 2006 P1 setting behind the Andes. The city is Bariloche, in northern Patagonia, Argentina. The skyline is formed by Cerro Catedral (to the right) and Cerro Ventana (to the left). Lake Nahuel Huapi lies in darkness in the foreground.
